I’ve been thinking about a simple, free health challenge that we all can and NEED to do. So starting Monday, Nov 9, this is the plan!….
For the 2 1/2 weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, I want to incorporate 2 simple goals that can minimize holiday weight gain and keep us feeling our best!
- Get rid of the refined sugar. Yep, this again. As we know, it’s in EVERYTHING. There are so many healthier ways to get a little sweet treat fix- in the form of fruits, honey, agave, coconut sugar, stevia. Instead of thinking of all the things you can’t eat, use your healthy creativity to come up with tasty things that your body will actually thank you for! =) Thanksgiving will be “reward day!” Enjoy the holiday- pie included 😉
- Get moving! I challenge us all to get a workout in, at least 20 minutes, for 5 days a week, and a good workout on Thanksgiving Day. It’s a busy time of year, we all have zero time and plenty of stress, and plenty of excuses. That’s a bad combination for staying trim and healthy. Get those workouts in- you’ll feel so much better!
This isn’t an official challenge but I promise it’ll be worth it if you push yourself! We really CAN do hard things!
