I love cookies. And all desserts. But for the sake of health (and also our 6-week challenge!), I have a healthy substitution cheat sheet for ya. I always have these replacement ingredients in my pantry, and I’ve used them in place of the crap that make cookies… not good for you.
So here’s a standard recipe for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that is found on the oatmeal container. And a cleaned up version that cuts the calories down and provides much more protein and fiber!
I also add a little cinnamon to this- and bake for the same time. I’ve tried pretty much the same subs for my favorite pumpkin bread, and other varieties of cookies. My kids don’t even know the difference-they’re still moist and tasty!
