Hey guys. So By now you should know I have a traditional no-nonsense approach to health and wellness. Eat well, move your body = you get results. I discourage gimmicks, crash and fad diets, quick fixes, and I’ve also turned down every offer to be a health coach because I don’t love either the idea of network marketing, or I don’t love/believe in the product.

Now, I also realize that certain programs work well for certain people. If you can’t get your act together on your own (and I’ve been there!), you might pay extra money for something that makes your fitness journey more SIMPLE.

A friend of mine, who is also a trainer and former competitor, and whom I TRUST to not sell me on bogus crap (lol), fell in love with Isagenix, and after dabbling with the idea of it, I finally agreed to try it out. I’m the biggest skeptic on this kind of stuff, I wasn’t interested in starting up a business, I just hoped if anything, I’d feel really good, and have a good grip on my nutrition again. If not, then… adios.

Eight days in, I admit I do like it! I feel sane, my body feels GOOD, and I actually feel much less stress about everything health-related. I have way less cravings. Oh and 4 pounds came off with very little mental effort. I’m kind of on a roll…

This isn’t a sales pitch. I’m not a pushy person and don’t want to be perceived that way. But my progress on my goals is really speeding up, and a lot of it has to do with starting on this program, so I feel I should be upfront about that. I’ll report after 30 days, but in the meantime, I’m back to working out again! (after 3 weeks off from surgery), I’m trying to get my strength back, improve bad habits, and I’m fired up to really be in a good place even going into the holidays. fitness-motivation-quotes-fitness-motivational-quote-8Looking good and fit is one thing, but FEELING good, and alive is priceless. You’ll realize that if you’ve ever been injured, sick, or lost your health for awhile. It is worth the effort- no matter how hard, to get to a healthy state. Keep on working towards your goals. Don’t let excuses get in the way of you living a high quality life!

Have a good week, my friends!

*UPDATE* A few weeks after this blog post, I was 100% in love with Isagenix! I’ve recommended it to all my clients, and I love having something so easy and simple to get my nutrition in and get LEAN!!
