February Fitness Challenge!

It’s been a little while, and I’ve had requests for a new health challenge! I think it’s important to appreciate and love your body for all it can do for you, and what better month than February? 😉

There will be 5 goals, each week in February, and I’ll probably create a doc that you can print off to tally your points each day (it will be on my Fit Steph Facebook page, join if you haven’t already).Feb-healthy-heart-1Week 1: (total 27)
Strength training 3x a week = 3 points
Cardio 3x a week= 3 points
(Can do strength and cardio on same days)
4 servings veggies everyday = 7 points
96 oz water daily = 7 points
Avoid refined sugars under 8 grams = 7 points

Week 2: (total 30)
Stretch 20 minutes 3x a week = 3 points
2 servings of fruit everyday = 7 points
Strength training 3x a week = 3 points
Cardio 3x a week = 3 points
Avoid refined sugars under 8 grams except valentines freebie!! = 7 points

Week 3: (total 23)
Write down 5 things you love about your body = 3 points
Try out a new physical activity: Zumba, crossfit, yoga= 3 points
Cardio 3x a week = 3 points
Avoid refined sugars under 8 grams = 7 points
Eat 2 servings of healthy fats daily = 7 points

Week 4: (total 26)
Strength training 3x a week = 3 points
Avoid refined sugars under 8 grams = 7 points
Choose a functional, physical goal you want to improve next month. Write it down and your game plan to achieve it= 2 points
Drink 96 oz water daily = 7 points
Eat combined 7 servings fruits and veggies per day! = 7 points

106 total points possible for the 4 weeks!

To join: Cost is $5 via Paypal. Send to stephaniemcrandall@gmail.com and please select “pay family and friends” to avoid fees (we are friends anyway right). All monies will go towards prizes for the winner! Winner will be the highest number of points during the whole month. Since I’m late getting this up, I’ll extend the sign-up to Wednesday, Feb 3rd at midnight to send payment. There will be additional opportunities through the month to earn bonus points =)
